Self-loving and narcissismI don’t know when started, word narcissism suddenly became popular again.

A friend of mine called to tell me she had moved to the States from China. When I asked  if she got a husband yet, she said to me, “with all I got, who do you think matches me?” I laughed. Apparently, she is a typical narcissist. Actually, she had been a narcissist since starting to understand word “beautiful”.

I remember reading a research report couple years ago. The author firmly concluded that celebrities are more in love with themselves than the average person is. That conclusion sounds pretty reasonable to me. Narcissism is really being in love with yourself, so it would be natural for narcissists to gravitate toward the spotlight, where other people will also think highly of them. Is that exactly what celebrities ought to achieve?

She was a celerity, en…sort of. She did win couple beauty contests, act in couple movies, anchor couple TV shows and make couple albums. More importantly, in my mind, she was the lover of couple tycoons …maybe moguls…anyway, rich men, although she never loved them – actually she hated them. She gave them chances love her only because they could put her in the spotlights.

She said she has got everything a girl could possible has. I knew she got a lot – beauty and talent, which probably got from her parents; houses, cars and luxury life styles that I am not quite sure where she got from. Hard working? Yeah, that could have contributed a little bit.

I told her she got everything from her parents. She argued, “certainly not. They are so damn poor.” I said to her, “Look, you got your beauty from your parents, right? Your beauty attracted those moguls tycoons, right? Those moguls tycoons made you a celebrity, right?” What I didn’t say was, “Those moguls tycoons bought you couple Bentleys penthouses, right?”

She loved my logic.

I said to her again, “Actually you didn’t get much. See, you even don’t have a man to spend your 30th birthday with you.” She replied dismissively, “I don’t need!”

Oh, I forgot she was a die-hard narcissist. So I got the last words as following:

Masturbation is bad;

Reaching orgasm with every masturbation is much worse;

Reaching no orgasm without masturbation is surely the worst.
